INTRODUCTION
Fifteen-year-old Wisp read Medea and loved it. It has betrayal, murder, and plenty of action. He was also oddly attracted to the protagonist.
Anyhow, after his classmates read the play, they praised her as a feminist icon. He was a bit confused by that, as it was written a touch under three thousand years ago, so he wrote an essay refuting this.
I think he did a good job. So did his teacher. But for some reason, when he was applying for college a year later, little Wisp had an idea. Williams, his dream college, gave the option to substitute the supplement with a school essay.
Eureka! So little Wisp, the lazy bugger, touched up and submitted an essay about the sexist views of an ancient play. Needless to say, he was rejected:
